I had a phone call with my editor this afternoon. I <3 her. She is a genius.
Anyway, we have agreed upon my Summer 2010 book (the second book in my two book deal) and I am raring to get writing!!
Sadly, I can't share any details about it yet. It's Super Seeekret. I shall announce it all as soon as I am given clearance. So you KNOW you want to keep an eye on my blog, right?
Until then, you just get this teeny tiny hint....
There will be a life-sized My Little Pony.
Now, to get to work! :-)

Comments
1. Can I have the Life Size My Little Pony? Is that possible? Cool. Awesome. :-)
2. What exactly are you doing in NYC? (Thats really my mother asking but when she asked, I was like "um um ummm...")
3. Congratulations. Okay so thats not a question. But WOO HOO!!!!! Yay for book #3 (that includes your NASCAR book)!!!!!!
2. Going to NYC to have a semi-business related trip-- meeting my two editors and agent, writing my Summer 2010 book, and doing a book signing.
3. YAY! THanks!
(I just got the My Little Pony theme song stuck in my head!!!!!!!!!)
2. Thanks! I just told my mom to not make any definite plans then. :-) Semi business related... OBVIOUSLY meeting your Mass/New Jersey street team lady, Rachel! ;-)
3. How *is* that Nascar book going? Or is it left for another time?
And the nascar book is also due this fall-- Sept 1, and the Razorbill book is due Oct 1...so I get to write both books this summer!
Dude, that's quick. Good luck!
It'll be busy but well worth it, and it WILL be done!
I am jealous you're in copy edits. . . but I think its common for debuts to be way ahead of the curve since they've never worked with you, and follow-ups to be tighter with deadlines to keep a regular schedule of releases.
I had a pink My Little Pony with purple hair. It was awesome.
